Prezzee GO Visa eGift Card: Conditions of Use
- Your Prezzee GO Visa eGift Card (“Gift Card”) is a Visa issued by Flexewallet Pty Ltd ABN 16 164 657 032 AFSL 448066 (the Issuer), a wholly owned subsidiary of Novatti Pty Ltd. Prezzee Pty Ltd ACN 602 963 422 (Prezzee) is a distributor of the Issuer.
- In these Gift Card conditions of use (Terms), ‘you’, ‘your’ or ‘user’ means the person who acquired the Gift Card, whether by purchasing the Gift Card, receiving the Gift Card as a gift, activating the Gift Card or by alllowing the addition of the Gift Card into your Pays-enabled device (or receiving the Gift Card by any other method), and ‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to Prezzee.
- By acquiring the Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms. All users of the Gift Card must be provided a copy of these Terms.
- Pays availability
4.1 When we refer to the Pays, we are referring to Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay and further, when we refer to a device, we are referring to a mobile phone or wearable device that allows you to store a Card to the device (Device).
4.2 Pays availability is subject to your respective Gift Card program sponsor and device capability. Although the Gift Card is Pays enabled, availability of the Pays is contingent upon the card program you have signed-up for. In addition, users associated with Pays enabled programs must ensure their device is Pays capable. This means your device must have the ability to store the Card and actuate a purchase.
- Using the Gift Card and Expiration
5.1 The Gift Card is a Visa prepaid card. This non-cash payment gift facility is intended to be used for gift purchases and not for the payment of everyday expenses.
5.2 The Gift Card can be used for purchasing goods and services where Visa prepaid cards are accepted for electronic transactions (excluding transactions at ATMs or over the counter at financial institutions).
5.3 The card will expire according to the month and year found on your tokenised card on your device.
5.4 The Gift Card is valid until the expiry date and cannot be used after it has expired. On the expiry of your Gift Card, any balance that remains after the expiry date will not be available for use and forefited by you, and will become the property of Prezzee Pty Ltd.
- Gift Card Limitations
6.1 The Gift Card:
(a) cannot be used to make transactions that exceed the available balance. For such a transaction you need to pay the difference by another method if the merchant agrees;
(b) is not reloadable;
(c) is not a credit card, debit card and nor is it linked to a deposit account with us;
(d) cannot be used to obtain or redeem cash and cannot be used for making direct debit, recurring, or regular installment payments;
(e) authorisations may be declined at some merchants (such as gambling merchants or merchants who choose not to accept the Gift Card);
(f) the Gift Card may be declined or blocked in some jurisdictions.
- Fees
7.1 We do not charge any fees for using the Gift Card. However, some merchants may charge you for using the Gift Card and such fees may be deducted from the balance of your Gift Card at the time of the transaction.
7.2 All transactions on the Gift Card conducted overseas or with an overseas merchant may converted into Australian dollars or charged in a foreign currency. A fee may be charged for overseas transactions.
- Waivers
8.1 We are not liable in any way when authorisation is declined for any particular transaction except where the authorisation has been declined because of a negligent act or omission on our part.
8.2 We are not liable in circumstances where you have other cards stored on your Device for payment and you inadvertently use the Gift Card when using your Device as a payment method. You must ensure that you select the correct card prior to using your Device as a payment method.
8.3 We are not otherwise liable for the use, functionality or availability of a Device, the availability of merchants who allow the use of the Device and Gift Card as payment, or a reduced level of service caused by the failure of third party communications and network providers (except to the extent deemed liable under the ePayments Code).
8.4 We are not liable for transactions on your Gift Card if:
(a) your Device security measures are compromised; or
(b) where you allow others access to, or the means to access, your Device; or
(c) any other circumstances in which you allow others to circumvent the security measures of your Device.
8.5 The Gift Card must be treated like cash and may not be replaced if misused, lost, stolen or damaged.
8.6 The Gift Card will be void if it is defaced, mutilated, altered or tampered with in any way.
- Refunds
9.1 Any refunds on Gift Card transactions are subject to the policy of the specific merchant.
9.2 If the Gift Card expires or is revoked before you have spent any funds resulting from a refund (whether or not the original transaction being refunded was made using the Gift Card) then you will have no access to those funds.
- Lawful Use, Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering
10.1 By using the Gift Card, you warrant that you are not the subject or target of any sanctions administered or enforced by the Australian Government, the U.S. Government (including the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury (OFAC) and the U.S. Department of State and including designation on the Specially Designation Nationals List maintained by OFAC), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, His Majesty’s Treasury of the United Kingdom, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom or any other relevant sanctions authority (collectively, Relevant Sanction Authorities);
10.2 You must not use your Gift Card for any unlawful purpose. Should your Gift Card be used for unlawful purposes, we may restrict you from accessing any value available on your Gift Card or cancel your Gift Card. Unlawful purposes include, but are not limited to:
(a) the purchase of goods or services prohibited by the laws of Australia and/or the location where the Gift Card is being used or where the goods or services are provided;
(b) the purchase of goods or services from a merchant sanctioned by the Relevant Sanction Authorities;
(c) the purchase of goods or services in a location, region or country subject to sanctions by the Relevant Sanction Authorities.
- Disputes, Complaints & General Queries
11.1 If you have a problem with a purchase made with the Gift Card, or a dispute with a merchant, you must deal directly with the merchant involved. If you cannot resolve the dispute with the merchant, you can contact Prezzee Customer Care.
11.2 If you notice any error relating to the Gift Card or have a query or complaint about the Gift Card, you should initially contact us by phoning Customer Care during business hours.

- Disclaimers
12.1 You are responsible for all transactions on the Gift Card, except where there has been fraud or negligence by our staff or agents.
12.2 We may restrict or stop the use of the Gift Card if suspicious activity is identified.
12.3 You are responsible for checking your transaction history, knowing the available balance and date of expiry for the Gift Card. Balance and transaction history are available to you within the app on your Device or within your account at www.prezzee.com.au.
12.4 We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Any changes to the Terms can be viewed at www.prezzee.com.au.
- Privacy
Information will be disclosed to third parties about the Gift Card, or transactions made with the Gift Card, whenever allowed or required by law, as permitted by the Prezzee Privacy Policy and also where necessary to operate the Gift Card and process transactions.
