The Tassis family has been running successful, award-winning restaurants for over 30 years, from the Southern States and NSW to multiple locations throughout Queensland. By always keeping the restaurants under the family umbrella, Michael Tassis was introduced to the hospitality industry from a young age, allowing him to become a successful restaurateur in Brisbane.

Michael’s next venture, Massimo Restaurant & Bar, is a contemporary new concept aiming to impress in a true Italian style. Massimo Restaurant & Bar’s Head Chef, Davide, is from the Abruzzo region on the east coast of Italy. Davide’s passion and dedication to the culinary arts are the benchmarks of the Massimo kitchen, offering spectacular Italian cuisine matched only by exquisite service and beautiful river views.
